I am a California-born Native American artist currently living in Los Angeles. I was raised by my mother, who is also an artist. We had very little money, but I learned that if I wanted something, l could learn to make it, and so I did. If I wanted a painting by a famous artist, instead of buying a print or poster, I learned to forge the masters. If there was a dress I coveted, I learned to construct a replica by hand. I was also lucky enough to attend a public performing art school from 4th to 12th grade, studying ballet, theater, and visual arts. I learned all aspects of Theatrical and Film Set design and production; we built our sets and props, designed costumes, lit our stage, and performed amongst our creations.
As a professional artist, I apply my craft, skills, imagination, and confidence, knowing I can create whatever my imagination can conjure in as many fields as possible. Beyond my personal work, I revel in helping others see their ideas come to life, whether by creating them or teaching them new skills to make them themselves.
I can't stop; I won't stop.

The core of everything I do as an artist is to convey emotion. As an Art Director, I create the environment in which the story unfolds or becomes a character itself. As a multi-disciplinary artist, my capabilities as an Art Director are only bound by my imagination.
I reinterpret, evolve, and blend my experiences, perspective, and spirituality with my culture's folklore and traditions to create sculptural and functional pieces that continue to tell the stories of our past and explore the human experience at large.
Beyond my work, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with some of this generations greatest artists, blending our unique styles and mediums into cohesive one of a kind pieces.
I started my career at the age of 17 as a carpenter's apprentice in the wood shop of a museum. There, I not only gained the technical skills that have been the foundation of my life's work, but also the confidence and ability to trust my own instincts.
